Born and raised in New York City, Alex found his passion for design at a young age while studying painting and drawing at The Art Students League and later at the Lacoste School of Art. He then attended Parsons School of Design and further developed his skills in graphic design and art direction.
Combining his passion for film, music, and design, Alex began his career at Lucas Film and MTV Networks. In 2005, Alex co-founded the New York based creative agency Goodlookin’, which specializes in broadcast design, branding and commercial production. There he honed the skills needed to operate a business and lead a creative team. Alex joined NBC Universal in 2008, working first for WNBC and LXTV, then transitioning to his current role as a Creative Director at USA Network. As Creative Director, Alex oversees the design of marketing initiatives ranging from network identity to content branding. He has overseen the network’s redesign and rebranding and contributed to the “future-proofing” of the design team's processes and workflows.
With a specialty in art direction and design, Alex has earned Gold, Silver and Bronze Promax and Broadcast Design Awards.
In his personal time, Alex enjoys playing the guitar, taking pictures, skateboarding, eating tacos and the challenge of solving difficult branding problems with compelling design solutions.
